Macomère Journal - (About the name "MaComère")


MaComère, a publication of the Association of Caribbean Women Writers and Scholars (ACWWS), is a refereed journal devoted to original creative works, scholarly papers, selected conference presentations, and book reviews by and about Caribbean women in the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean diaspora. MaComère is published annually at the end of each year. The journal’s inaugural issue was published in 1998 with considerable support from James Madison University.
