"Burning Queens" Artwork by Chenjerai "Jedhi" Weir
Chenjerai "Jedhi" Weir is a digital and multimedia artist with a background in traditional art, film, and classical theater. Jedhi
graduated with his BFA in theater with a major in costume design from FIU where he attended KCACTF (Kennedy Center American College
Theater Festival), placing 2nd for his costume designs on "A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings" directed by Victoria Collado. Following
graduation Jedhi started working closely with Angelina Esposito as an assistant costumer at New World School of the Arts in downtown
Miami. He costumed for "Church and State" and assistant costumed for "Men on Boats" at Main Street Players theater prior to the
covid-19 outbreak. During the pandemic Jedhi has taken on art commissions, voice over work, and a fantasy/adventure passion project
"Lone Saga" set for release on youtube January 10th, 2021.
